Quick Guide To Healing Dry Irritated Skin*
1. Stop using anything and everything that makes your face sting. For me this meant all my regular face washes and moisturisers were out.
2. Wash your face with an emollient. I used a generic aqueous cream every morning. This was the only thing that didn't irritate my skin.
3. Lock in moisture by applying a facial oil to damp skin. I used FLOW from The Afro Hair & Skin Co. It's 100% natural and doesn't stress my skin.
4. Use a rich cream for dry areas. Flaky skin was a real issue for me so I used the Ultra Repair Cream from First Aid Beauty on all my dry areas.
*This is what worked for me but it might not work for you. Pop in to your GP to make sure it's not anything more serious.
