If you read my last post, you'll know that I've been having a nightmare with my skin. Through overuse of exfoliating products, I had left my skin irritated, inflamed and very very unhappy. The healing process took weeks (details in the graphic above) and my skin is still imbalanced.

This last month has forced me to take a long hard look at what I use on my skin. I'm a fan of skincare so I do spend a lot of money and time on products but I don't pay attention to ingredients in the same way that I do for the products I use on my hair. If my hair is a vegan, my skin is a junk food addict with an alcohol problem.
A quick glance at my go to skincare products reveals a list of ingredients I can't pronounce let alone understand. I've fallen into a lazy routine that isn't responsive to what my skin needs. This is all about to change and I will be dragging you all on this journey with me. I know I'm forever doing journeys but what is life if not a journey.
I'll be looking into the best practices for sensitive skin that are as close to nature as possible. I'll be trying them out and doing reviews along the way. I'll also be hunting down products with all natural ingredients for cleansing, moisturising, toning and exfoliating.
If you have any tips at all I'd be very grateful or if there is anything you would like me to try, let me know in the comments below.
