When it comes to personal style, I am pretty fluid. I go through a lot of phases, mostly ridiculous but all a lot of fun. At the moment, I am attempting to channel my inner Jessa. All the characters on Girls have a special place in my heart but Jessa's fashion and beauty looks have me swooning. For those not in the know, Girls is a HBO drama about a group of young women traversing the murky waters that are your twenties and it's amazing. You can find out more about the show HERE.
The thing I love most about Jessa's style is how effortless it looks. She has all the trappings of the boho hippie look but there is an edge and cleanness to it that I can really get behind. Billowing shapes, sheer fabrics, prints and killer accessories are all hallmarks of her signature look.
Check out my take on how to get Jessa's look below. I've kept things simple with printed maxi dresses and statement accessories. I have to admit these looks are very luxe but I couldn't resist those silk dresses from South African designer Sindiso Khumalo. The graphic prints are just gorgeous and make a nice change from florals.

For a more purse friendly take on Jessa's look, I would highly recommend going for unique vintage pieces. You can find great vintage stores on every corner in East London, my favourites are Blitz and Beyond Retro. Vintage jewellery is also worth a look. Check out the Sunday UpMarket at Truman Brewery or you can also have a peek at my online store here.
